Eye pads are sterile adhesive/non-adhesive dressings specially designed to cover and protect the eyes. They are generally round or oval in shape, made from cotton or viscose, and can be impregnated with physiological solution or medicinal substances as required, to maintain moisture levels favorable to the healing of eye lesions, while avoiding rubbing and irritation. They are indicated for the treatment of conjunctivitis, eye burns, trauma or the aftermath of surgery. They must be used with care and under medical supervision to preserve eye health and comfort.
